I'm currently putting the finishing touches on a new article for the CBC about the strengthening ties between China and Japan, and what this could mean for the United States. As a net exporter of creativity and innovation, Japan is uniquely positioned to exploit new opportunities wherever they arise. And they are rising in China unlike anywhere else in history. When the world's second largest economy sets its sights on and aims its creative might at the world's most populous nation, things change.
